These Boys' Reaction To Bullying In Their School Will Melt Your Heart

JUNE 12, 2015  —  By Binny Gudjonsson

Watching someone getting picked on is tough, but standing up for them can sometimes be even tougher. Fortunately, for one group of classmates, standing up for someone and doing the right thing seemed almost effortless.

When a group of fifth grade boys at Franklin Elementary in Mankato, MN, noticed that James, a learning-disabled classmate, was getting mercilessly bullied by a bunch of bad apples, they banded together and made him a part of their group. Their incredible actions prove just how powerful friendship can be, and how standing up for your peers can shine a light on any darkness.

If these boys and their act of kindness don't touch your heart, nothing will. Well done, Gus, Landon, Jack, Jake, and Tyler! May your kindness carry you on to amazing things in life!
