This Is Exactly Why Dash Cameras Are So Helpful In Today's World

OCTOBER 6, 2016  —  By Corinne Sanders

If you don't have concrete proof of someone committing a crime against you, it's not hard for the offending person to get away with it.

This is especially true when it comes to hit-and-run crashes. I've been a victim of such an accident, and I can't tell you how shocked I was when the person behind the wheel screeched off in his car before I could even read his license plate. Luckily, the damage was minimal and I was fine, but it's infuriating to think about how he didn't have to deal with his carelessness.

That's why it's a good idea to keep a camera in your car -- or on your motorcycle helmet -- at all times. While enjoying a ride on his bike, YouTuber RPSTV witnessed an unfortunate car crash in which the driver responsible for the ordeal sped away. But he knew that he could help the victim by following the vehicle and recording everything, so that's exactly what he did.

As of now, there's no word on whether the driver has been found. Even though he got away, they now have a license plate number thanks to this quick-thinking biker.
