There is a not-so-hidden world on social media exclusively for the incredibly wealthy called Rich Kids of Instagram.

There, teenagers and young people in their early twenties flaunt their status and money, showing off gifts they've received from their parents. The Instagram accounts, of which there are many, tend to show off expensive cars, exotic vacations, and literal piles of cash.

A new phenomenon is sweeping the group, however. Luxury weapons are now in style, and these aren't your average hunting rifles. Ranging from unique swords to luxe handguns to gold-plated AK-47s, these rich kids are taking weapon ownership to a whole new level.

Louis Vuitton is a popular designer for those interested in luxury weapons. Handle grips can be customized easily with logos and traditional designs.

Beyond handguns, Louis Vuitton and Dolce & Gabbana logos can be found on even more powerful weapons.

Selfies with assault rifles are all the rage right now.

Most of the guns are gold-plated to emphasize the luxury factor.

While this is happening worldwide, the Russian Rich Kids group has a particular fondness for showing off weapons like this chrome-plated gun.

American playboy and poker star Dan Bilzerian shared that he spent Halloween in the desert shooting pumpkins with semi-automatic weapons. His just aren't quite as glitzy as the rest of the Rich Kids' guns are.
