This Guy Believes He Can Cure Even The Worst Diseases...But The Treatment Is Horrifying

NOVEMBER 24, 2016  —  By Corinne Sanders

South Africa doesn't have a great track record when it comes to claims of miracle disease treatments.

One of the worst myths there is that those with HIV can be cured by having sex with a virgin. Unfortunately, though, that's only the tip of the iceberg -- other outrageous lies are negatively affecting innocent people's health all over the country.

One such lie is being propagated by Lethebo Rabalago, a pastor at the Mount Zion General Assembly in the Limpopo province. He says that pesticide can cure cancer and HIV.

The self-proclaimed prophet sprays Doom insecticide directly into the faces of his congregation members, telling them that it will heal them of their various ailments.

He even sprayed one woman with an eye infection. He told BBC that she was "just fine because she believed in the power of God."

Tiger Brands, the company that produces the pesticide, says that they "want to make it very clear that it is unsafe to spray Doom Super Multi Insect Killer, or any other aerosol spray for that matter, into people’s faces."

However, Rabalago continues to do so, condemning anyone who questions his practices.

It's terrifying to think about how much these people will suffer if they continue to believe his lies.

While Rabalago definitely isn't the only South African pastor to encourage his congregation to participate in dangerous practices, one thing's for sure -- this man really needs to be stopped.
