Need A Little Joy In Your Life? Here Are Some Orcas Spouting Rainbows

JUNE 8, 2017  —  By Corinne Sanders

When people began recording a group of orcas swimming off the coast of Monterey Bay, California, they captured a truly magical moment in nature.

As the killer whales broke the surface of the water and spouted from their blowholes, beautiful rainbows formed over the mist from the spray, making it look like they came straight out of the creatures themselves.

Get in touch with your inner child by watching the amazing footage below. Move over, narwhals -- these whales are the real unicorns of the sea!

I've never even seen orcas while out whale watching, let alone ones that look like they're spouting rainbows! Share so others can check out this awesome phenomenon for themselves.
