In 2014, Annie Jacobs and her animal family decided to ring in the new year with the addition of Butler the cat.

After it became quite obvious that baby Butler was too young to be away from his mother, the lovable cat quickly grew attached to Jacob’s dog, Paddington, and the two have been inseparable ever since.

In the never-ending battle of cats vs. dogs, these two are just happy to find a friend in each other.

These two share just about everything, including their food bowls. Now that's love.

Or not!

In early 2017, Paddington was diagnosed with lymphoma and had to begin undergoing chemo treatments.

When he's out for treatment, Butler anxiously awaits his return.

Now if that's not brotherly love, I don't know what is.
