A Three-Year-Old Loves Working Out With His Mommy And Ended Up With...A Six Pack?!

JANUARY 9, 2016

Now that New Year's Eve is behind us, how's your resolution to get into shape going? Don't worry, you don't have to answer that. But here's a little motivation that'll get you back into the gym this week, and it comes in the form of a three-year-old who loves working out with his mom.

Living in Canberra, Australia, Dash is a normal boy who loves ice cream and doing a ton of physical activities, including running, jumping, and climbing trapezes. But when he's not playing around, he's taking fitness photos for his thousands of Instagram followers who know him as MusclyLittleMonster. Wait until you see his results!

At just three years old, Dash doesn't even have to flex to show his six pack.

Which makes sense, given how much time he loves to spend on his outdoor activity center at home.

He just loves being active!

Cute, isn't he?

According to his mom, Ursula, "I first noticed Dash had the beginnings of a six pack about six months ago when I was changing his nappy."

"He’s too young to realise he has it, of course, but he’s already incredibly muscly."

"I’m reasonably fit, as is his dad, but Dash’s love of exercise really came from his love of the outdoors."

"He’s outside every day, come rain or shine. I used to run with him in the pram when he was a baby, and as soon as he hit two, I took him out on what I thought would be a gentle jog. Dash ended up running four kilometres!"

"He started walking at 10 and a half months, has been climbing from the beginning, and does laps in the kitchen. He has constant energy!"

"For his second birthday, we built Dash an outdoor activity centre complete with trapezes and places to swing from. He just loves it."

And don't think that Dash just eats kale and protein powder. According to Ursula, "I feed him as healthily as possible, but he always has his head in the fridge, and he loves ice cream. The most I can hope for at this stage is to feed him well and encourage him. Who knows what the future will hold?"

We totally agree! Have you found your motivation?
