It Looks Like He's Floating Over A City. How He's Doing It Is Nuts. Would You Try?

Fear of heights is one of the most common phobias out there.

After all, humans are pretty delicate beings. When it comes to falling from great heights, we pretty much snap like twigs. Some people manage to overcome that fear, however, to scale walls and step out over the Grand Canyon.

At the Market Square Tower in Houston, Texas, one architect has taken this concept and translated it into a hanging swimming pool that stretches ten feet out over the street below. Yikes!

When standing in the glass-bottomed pool, it looks like the swimmer is floating on air. It's totally surreal.

I don't know if I'd be brave enough to step out over the edge! Would you? Let us know in the comments, and be sure to share this with all the scaredy-cats in your life.
