You could buy decorations, sure. It’s fun to get new things and hang them around the house. But those store-bought designs definitely can’t live up to one Imgur user’s simple, effective, and cheap solution to scaring the living hell out of visitors.
All you need is a printer, scissors, some tape, and a door frame.

Cut out the face and hand carefully. Make sure to get all the blank paper between the fingers for the most realistic look.
Then tape them so the face peeks around the door and the hand appears to grip it.
From far enough away, this unexpected lurker could make anyone jump!
