They Were Singing A Folk Song In A Snowy Forest When The Most Magical Thing Happened

OCTOBER 21, 2015  —  By Binny Gudjonsson

Folk singer Shawn James was on tour with his crew in Colorado when he was given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to film a video in a wolf sanctuary. Jumping at the chance, he decided that he'd perform a cover of A.A. Bondy's "American Hearts."

It was a very cold and snowy day, so they only had time for one take. What happened shortly after Shawn started singing gave everyone goosebumps.

Now I know what to do the next time I find myself surrounded by a pack of wolves. I'll sing. I'll sing my terrified heart out until they make me the leader of their pack. In all seriousness, though, I'm sure that this is a performance that these two won't soon forget.
